Firewall - Movie Site

This site design was so unique it was shown to me as a QuickTime motion test. This Jimmy Chen design required a motion test just to show what the site would function like. I think I said after seeing it: “So this 400mb QuickTime is supposed to be a website that actually works like that?” and the answer was yes. I had an idea for how to build the site, but to be certain I asked for other ideas and input to confirm my method was the only logical solution. Well I was wrong; Preston Goforth showed me a way to achieve Jimmy’s folding accordion website that wasn’t a “canned technique” as I had planned on using. At the time Preston’s technique was very ambitious and slightly beyond my comprehension, however I knew we could integrate his idea with the work the rest of us were doing with the build. There were some challenges but the project was cool.
